After four kids, ten moves and nearly two decades, we are still blissfully in love (most of the time) and I found myself back in the state I was born and raised in. It has definitely been a journey. In fact, on our 18th anniversary we pulled the last of our stuff up over the pass and into Montana, leaving our surprise love, Idaho, behind. But Montana is a great place. The last best place according to some. And we fully intend to explore as much of it as we can! Join us on our continued adventure through life, love and other stuff that comes with it.

Reclaiming the wagon

For Easter when Grace was about 1 year old, we bought a wagon. A beautiful red wagon. It has been used and abused over the last 4 years or so. Pacific Northwest rain is tough on a wagon. I'll just say that it got a little rusty.

A while back I decided to save the wagon--or at least convince Brent to save the wagon. I bought a can of truck bed liner at Walmart and some sand paper.

And a couple days ago, they went at it. But sandpaper wasn't good enough for Brent. He needed something with more power.

Calla was happy with the sandpaper.

The next morning it was dry and beautiful. I can't claim it as my idea, but a can of that stuff on a rusty wagon is a fabulous plan.

Just look at the glee. (And yes, Grace is still in her pajamas.)

I love summer.
