After four kids, ten moves and nearly two decades, we are still blissfully in love (most of the time) and I found myself back in the state I was born and raised in. It has definitely been a journey. In fact, on our 18th anniversary we pulled the last of our stuff up over the pass and into Montana, leaving our surprise love, Idaho, behind. But Montana is a great place. The last best place according to some. And we fully intend to explore as much of it as we can! Join us on our continued adventure through life, love and other stuff that comes with it.

Happy THIRD Birthday, V!

The little blue-eyed turkey turned THREE!

Already.

And since we were headed up to grandma and grandpa's to send the girls camping with grandma and grandpa, we thought we'd throw in a little birthday party.

We invited Uncle Cort and Aunt Danita, grandma made cake and grandpa bought ice cream.

It was just the right speed for three.  Or as Violet will tell you, fuWEEE!

She had a pretty little stack of presents to open.  Just enough for three.

And they made cards that morning while I was packing.

Grandma did a fabulous job on the cake--fluffy frosting and all.  Even though the frosting ended up flying all over her beautiful kitchen.  And Violet could not be happier.

She stood there and just grinned while we all sang.

Calla got a little excited.  This picture just cracks me up.

But Calla did not do any damage--though here she's coming in from the right.  She just could not help herself.

Happy Birthday to our little blondie.  She's a pretty special kid and we're so blessed to have her.
