After four kids, ten moves and nearly two decades, we are still blissfully in love (most of the time) and I found myself back in the state I was born and raised in. It has definitely been a journey. In fact, on our 18th anniversary we pulled the last of our stuff up over the pass and into Montana, leaving our surprise love, Idaho, behind. But Montana is a great place. The last best place according to some. And we fully intend to explore as much of it as we can! Join us on our continued adventure through life, love and other stuff that comes with it.

I felt like a terrible mom

I kept wondering why I was not crying sending my kid to Kindergarten.

Am I a cold mother who gladly sends her sweet, innocent child off to the hands of strangers for hours at a time?

Admittedly, I'm not a cryer.

But today, the third day of Kindergarten this is the scene that got me all choked up:

Stupid school bus.

And a foo-foo dog that needs a haircut.

I thought I was the only one that isn't dreading the first day of school! It's not for another few years, but I don't see how I won't be more excited for him than pained. I guess it depends on if Seth rides the bus or not. Since we live right in the city, the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim.

Fun post!
