After four kids, ten moves and nearly two decades, we are still blissfully in love (most of the time) and I found myself back in the state I was born and raised in. It has definitely been a journey. In fact, on our 18th anniversary we pulled the last of our stuff up over the pass and into Montana, leaving our surprise love, Idaho, behind. But Montana is a great place. The last best place according to some. And we fully intend to explore as much of it as we can! Join us on our continued adventure through life, love and other stuff that comes with it.

Something special for a little someone special

A while back I had a mama contact me about making a special carrier. She has a special needs five-year-old who cannot walk well and simply wants to be carrier all the time. So after some discussion, I made her this:

That's my husband (Mr. Cheesy) and our five-year-old. They did the majority of the testing and actually put in a formal request for their very own. I tried it as well, and must say that for a kiddo that big, I was impressed by how comfortable it was.

I won't be adding these to the regular line for Silly Goose. But I will say that if I can make make daily life a little easier and more comfortable for a family with a child with special needs, I'm happy to do it.

Happy Babywearing!
