After four kids, ten moves and nearly two decades, we are still blissfully in love (most of the time) and I found myself back in the state I was born and raised in. It has definitely been a journey. In fact, on our 18th anniversary we pulled the last of our stuff up over the pass and into Montana, leaving our surprise love, Idaho, behind. But Montana is a great place. The last best place according to some. And we fully intend to explore as much of it as we can! Join us on our continued adventure through life, love and other stuff that comes with it.

They just keep GROWING!

The little turkeys just keep growing on us.  I guess that's a good thing, but still.

Calla is FIVE today!  We made her a fancy shirt and everything.

She picked out the rest of her outfit.  The skirt is a present from one of her grandmas.

And just in case you were wondering how old she is:

She wants apple pie instead of cake.  Daddy will be SO happy!

(Here's to fabulous ideas I find in magazines that tell me that using a washable marker on a white shirt keeps the shirt usable!  Woot!)

And also here is to five years for our little girl who is definitely her own little person.  And when I say little, I mean little.  I look at her and she certainly doesn't LOOK five!

Happy Birthday to our little girl!  Let's make FIVE a great number!

Give that sweet little Birthday Girl a hug from her grandpa and grandma. We are glad we got to be at her party last weekend!
